Setup as a service

Some components of Xillio Insights can be setup to run as a service. This guide helps you setup those services.

Note that running Elasticsearch and Kibana as a service is the best setup for giving unattended access to the dashboards.

For Elasticsearch follow this guide.

For Kibana and Xillio PIPE (required for file share analysis) you need a tool called NSSM. Use the usage guide to install Kibana and PIPE as a service. Entering the basic information (name and description) is enough for Kibana and PIPE to run.
